What a wonderful morning we had last Friday! It was a pleasure to celebrate the wonderful mothers and mother figures of our students. We hope you all had a lovely weekend with family and friends.

Thank you to the P&F for the delicious BBQ breakfast and to the dads who volunteered to cook and serve. The open classrooms were a hit, it was lovely to see so many of our mums in the classrooms!

Yesterday our Stage One High Potential and Gifted Learners stepped into the Renaissance — with a twist of 2025! Students met Leonardo da Vinci (as a chatbot!) and asked him everything from his favourite colour to what he would invent if he were still alive today. 💬🎨

Using the power of AI, they then crafted creative prompts to design Leonardo’s studio and imagined travelling back in time to explore his world. 🖼️

We’re proud to be a pilot school for CE Chat, bringing AI into Catholic Education to inspire curiosity, creativity and deep learning at OLPS. Thank you Mrs Perosin for creating the Leonardo chatbot, and for preparing this amazing learning experience!

Over the next 6 weeks, our school will participate in the SportsPro Gymnastics program with coach Justine. Our students are enjoying learning new skills and having a blast tumbling, egg-rolling and tuck-jumping along the mats!
